The Friends of the Lansdowne Public Library

Supporting the Lansdowne Public Library through fundraising and events.

What Happens to Your Donations?

The Friends are happy to accept donations from individuals and businesses who wish to give.  We can also apply for and receive grants on behalf of the Library.

Donations to the Friends of the Lansdowne Public Library are used entirely and exclusively for the benefit of Lansdowne Public Library, in coordination with the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees.  FLPL is a 501(C3) non-profit organization, therefore, for all donations you may take a charitable deduction off your taxes.

The library provides a lively civic center for our small borough.  Whether patrons read a novel to leave their cares aside for a while, join the History club, attend information sessions, expand their knowledge through nonfiction, enjoy a puppet show, keep up with events in the newspaper and magazine section, check out how-to books for house projects, use the computers, or research business information, the Library adds to the quality of life and the local economy.

We need your donations to help the library respond to the needs of a wide range of patrons. The Friends thank you for doing your part!

Our Friends Need Friends!

“For good times, in bad times… that’s what friends are for…”

Join the Friends of the Lansdowne Public Library in their support of special programs and a commitment to Lifelong Learning.

  • Your tax-deductible donation will support a host of holiday, special programs, equipment and supplies throughout the year.

For those who would like to be more active, you are welcome to contribute your time! Attend our monthly meetings: 1st Tuesdays, 7pm in the library. Or if meetings aren’t your thing, ask us about what fundraising tasks you can help with.
